Heaven is not a prison with tier upon tier of cells; but a HOME. And what is home without the recognition and love of fond hearts? So long as we read of David going to his child; of Paul anticipating the pleasure of meeting again his converts; of the women and the disciples being able to recognise the Saviour amid the glory of the resurrection body – we are prepared to believe, with the patriarch, that dying is re-union with those to whom in the deepest sense we are related. Spiritual affinities are for all time and eternity, and will discover themselves through all worlds.
